  • And one of the following for anyone 5 or older:
    • Proof of vaccination
    • Negative rapid test results within 24 hours
    • Proof of negative PCR test within 48 hours

Update as of 2-20-22: Masks are no longer required outdoors and proof of vaccination or negative COVID Test are only required on more crowded days.

City Walk Testing Site

Update as of 3-5-22: City Walk Test Site is closed.

To help with this COVID Precaution, Universal Studios has a test site in City Walk. It is located in the Jurassic Parking Garage. You’re going to go to the valet parking M. If you are going to the park, you can park in any parking structure and walk over. If you are not going to the park, they have 30 minute parking for the duration of the test.

As you can see, you can expect a bit of a line if you just show up. The link for the test site is above the photo, but if you arrive without an appointment, there is still a way to skip the line.

How to Skip the Line

You can use your camera setting to register for an appointment on arrival. This will allow you to skip most of the line. If the camera on your phone is like mine and does not allow for this, you can download the QR & Barcode Scanner app, which should do the trick.

Once you’re registered, you can skip ahead of the line and get tested. You will then be requited to wait at the test site for approximately 15 minutes for your results. The entire process should take between 20-25 minutes.

As I am fully vaccinated and was already running late, I did not stay to get tested, so I cannot verify the length of time that it took. This, however, is not a terrible option if you need to get tested the day of your visit.
