Creators for Peace and How You Can Help Displaced Children from Ukraine

The focus on the news these days seems to be Russia’s unjust invasion of Ukraine. There’s speculation into Putin’s mental instability and all of the damage he is causing. The level of trauma he is causing to adults, many of whom who are fleeing the country, is devastating. What’s worse is that half of the refugees are children. Hundreds of thousands of people are desperately seeking shelter and safety and are in need of food and clean water. This is where Creators for Peace comes in.

Creators for Peace is a movement of creators coming together to raise awareness of the plight of children in Ukraine, primarily during the week of March 21-28, and to raise money for those children and other refugees.

So, what can you do to help?

UNICEF is working with partners to supplies and safe places for these refugees. In order to help them in this mission, there are two main things you can do:

  1. Donate to Unicef
  2. Share this article with as many people as possible to get the word out. If you post on social media, use the hashtag #Creatorsforpeace

For more information, check out this article about the refugees. If you know of any other options for helping Ukraine, comment below with the hash tag #Creatorsforpeace.

If you share or donate, also comment below saying, “I shared” or “I donated” using the same hashtag as is above.

Thank you everyone for your help. Together we can make a difference.
