After graduating from college, I came home. I got my first job with my degree as a residential aide. I believe my official title was as a child development specialist. I worked a half hour from home in Canonsburg. I was still living at home at that time, but I started to dream of more. Here is the next segment of My Story: Philadelphia.
At the time, I wanted to be a musical therapist, and there were no schools in the area that had programs for this. This was essentially the beginning of the end of my relationship with my mother. I didn’t know it at the time, but this was it.
