Matriarchal Version of Adam and Eve

I’ve always had issues with the creation story as I learned it. This is because it stated that a woman was made for her man. This is not something I believe to be true. But, rather an interpretation made by men for men to subjugate women. The matriarchal version of the Adam and Eve is a bit different.

Although I have not had the opportunity to research the accuracy of what I am seeing here, there are parallels to things I have learned previously and know to be true. For instance, I learned that man in the bible was actually meant to be mann. Mann is a shortened version of the old English word humann, which was later shortened to human. In the video, the narrator discussed how the word man was substituted for human, which I believe to be true.

In this version of the story, the focus is on reassuring men that they will be reunited with their missing half and what they lack since they do not have a womb. And, that sounds about right to me.
