24 Days ‘Til Christmas for Kids: How to Guarantee a Spot on Santa’s Nice List

24 Days ‘Til Christmas for Kids: How to Guarantee a Spot on Santa’s Nice List is written by Victoria Scudder.

This is not a traditional children’s book. But, it is an activity workbook for children, teens, and adults alike. And, I actually might use some of these suggestions myself. 5/5 stars from me.

Watch us grow: Growing plants to eat.

Watch us grow: Growing plants to eat is written by Linda Booysen.

I kind of felt like this book didn’t know what it wanted to be. There were parts that rhymed and parts that didn’t. And, some of the fruits and vegetables had a ‘Did You Know’ section while others spouted off history or just tried to be cute.

I think this story could have used some more cohesiveness and focused on one format instead of several different ones. This book gets 3/5 stars from me.

The Adventures of a Robot Vacuum: The Ransom

The Adventures of a Robot Vacuum: The Ransom is written by Mendi Spencer.

For such a silly and benign event (it was based on a true story), this turned out to be a hilarious story of a turkey stealing the robot vacuum to keep people too busy to buy turkeys at Thanksgiving. 5/5 stars.

Conclusions and Recommendations

Based on Book Reviews: Edition 30, I recommend both 24 Days ‘Til Christmas for Kids: How to Guarantee a Spot on Santa’s Nice List and The Adventures of a Robot Vacuum: The Ransom.
